Decarbonising the UK's housing stock is widely accepted to be a major priority to meet national emissions-reduction targets. The retrofit system is also highly complex, and interacts with numerous other policy and life domains.
Understanding these interactions and driving forwards retrofit in a way that will maximise benefits for people and planet requires the input and expertise of a wide range of organisations.
We are collecting information about organisations that are involved with the UK's retrofit system. We are interested in any organisation that has a stake in how retrofit is done, in the broadest sense—from product designers, housing providers and policy strategists, to researchers, health professionals and community activists.
The Retrofit Directory will be made publicly available and searchable, supporting organisations to identify one another, connect and collaborate.
